Hi, i'm newest of this forum.

I'm trying to replace the standard Dedalus missile with the same of the Colonial Viper of the Battlestar Galactica Ship Pack v2.0, but I don't know what files i've to edit, replace or rename...

I've installed the Stargate Ship Pack 2.0 and the Battlestar Galactica Ship Pack 2.0

Can someone help me in this place ? Thanks in advance !!

I thought they were basically the same.

Do you mean Daves BSG pack or another one, and is it that you want smoke trails or want to change the damage done?

The Model Property Editor(MPE) is the proper way to edit the hardpoint file of the ship or ship(s) in question. It can be downloaded at BC Files, under utilities I believe. It's actually part of a mod called SDK. Do a search for that and I'm sure you'll find it. Also there are some nice tutorials here on how this all works. BTW welcome aboard and don't be shy about any questions in the future. The community is always happy to help.:cool:

The SDK is not a mod. It's a set of tools released by the developers that they themselves used to develop BC all those years ago. It stands for Software Development Kit.

the easyest way to do it is. 1.open the harpoint file (py not pyc) for the ship you want to change and the ship that has the missiles, in this case the viper. (the hardpoints are in Scripts/ships/hardpoints, use notepad to open them). 2. find the line with the Torpeedo/missile system (not particular tubes) 3. fing the line that says torpeedo type there should be something like "scripts/tactical/projectiles/Viper missile" or something like that. 4. then make the line in the SG ship the same as in the Viper. and presto its fiering viper rockets! (be sure to delete the pyc file to the altered ship or it might not work) on a side note. in the 3rd SG pack the ships will have smoke trail missiles
