Yea is there any way to edit a hardpoint file or even remove a file to get a single ship not to show physical damage?

simply deactivate the optoin "visible damage" in your menu

i think he wants only one ship.

If i remember right, theres somethin in the Hardpoint that sets the Hull density, which is the setting for how much damage needs to be taken before its breeches (or shows dark burn marks.)

example:

overeign = App.ShipProperty_Create("Sovereign")

Sovereign.SetGenus(1) Sovereign.SetSpecies(102) Sovereign.SetMass(10000.000000) Sovereign.SetRotationalInertia(10000.000000) Sovereign.SetShipName("Seaworthy") Sovereign.SetModelFilename("data/Models/Ships/CGSovereign.nif") Sovereign.SetDamageResolution(20.000000) Sovereign.SetAffiliation(0) Sovereign.SetStationary(0) Sovereign.SetAIString("FedAttack") Sovereign.SetDeathExplosionSound("g_lsDeathExplosions") App.g_kModelPropertyManager.RegisterLocalTemplate(Sovereign)

set damage resolution to 0 and it should prevent the ship from showing any damage at all.

(really helpful if its a god ship)

nop that dont work...i tried and pieces still fall off and damage is still shown -_- ive even deleted the model filename and still nothin different happens.

oh if you want the damaged peices not to fall off then i can't help you. the only way to do that is to do what i said, and set damage to medium. That way damage sets up on the non damaged ship, but the peices don't fall off.

I found a code in the Imperial Super Star Destroyer made by Alexis "DamageRadMod" : 0.0, This is what I was looking for. It keeps the ship's model undamaged as intended. You have to fit it in the ships py file...not hte hardpoint file. just some useless information for all of you :)
