I have asked this so many times in the forums but here goes:
If we take a galaxy class starship in qb & put it in the exact center of a drydock you can clearly see that it is much too big, some people say it is so that worker bees can move around but this is not true since worker bees are smaller than a robin reliant. Also we see in ST:TMP & in ST:Generations that for the width of the dock each side of the saucer section on the 1701 & 1701-b only just clears the drydock walls. I don't know about the length but if anyone could just do it so that the drydock is a bit longer than a sovereign & a bit wider than a galaxy it should be just right. Also it's missing the docking lounge on the sides which makes the dock non-canon since there is no where on the stock one to actually control it.
P.S. Tried it myself but milkshape wont import the drydock at all.
i havnt forgottin about you kirk, i just gotta do some scripts for the drydock. what i decided to do was make a new drydock out of the old one, so i gotta do the scripts, should be packaged and sent by mid afternoon
cds7318, I thought you had given up on it. Turns out I hadn't got my milkshape plugins pack so I downloaded it and had a go myself but it came out all wrong so I had, but its great you've gotten one to work. P.S. Don't give it any shields since drydock's don't have any, this makes it more canon.
To get rid of the shields you need to make it untargetable ShieldGenerator.SetTargetable(0)
& lower each shield & its recharge rate to 0. Don't delete the entire shield property or else the HP won't work at all.
ahh, i wasnt planing on doing the hp, i was gonna leave that up to you. I was gonna do the scripting to get in to work in game ;)
check your in box ;)
