Hey man Ok well i do indeed like your ships that you made very much, especially the gate carrier. I was going to do the HP's for them when I started thinking. I just got 3ds max, and i have been mucking around with it self teaching myself. Anyway, I loved the model but i felt that the textures did not accurately represent the Ancients. I mean no disrespect, I cannot texture for my life but what I did was take some of the textures and model shapes from the Stargate Ship Pack by Dave975 + DKealt. I have attached 3 screens of my progress so far, now they are from the rendering in 3ds max, but its just to show you. Feel free to say what you think, what you like don’t like, it’s a WIP. After I finished the model I was going to HP it and then I was actually going to have another model with the bay doors open using MVAM in the game. I was also going to make the inside platform lager, having a few more gates, but also 2 or 3 jumpers. This way it can launch them if it needs to fight, but it also fits with its mission (the jumpers can be used to move the gates into place, or scout planets cloaked). I did see someone else already said they would HP it, but with your permission (and Dave975 + DKealt) I was going to release your ships as a package mod. Love your ships I've been waiting for more stargate stuff to add to the game !:bows:

PS. Make sure to get permission to use those textures from the Stargate pack, if your going to release them..;)

Yes of coarse I will get all permissions before I release anything, thank you. I have stated almost from scratch, I wanted to edit the main platform in the center of the ship. This is what I have come up with, I’m not sure of the curved top, I may reduce the strength of it. I did however make a somewhat cheep version of some force fields becasue I felt that one would be logical. I have a lot of work I should be doing for next week so I don’t think I’ll have anymore time to do much more on this. As for HPing the mother ship I can do that too later on as well as doing the HP and scripting both the Warship and fighter (and fighter launching via MVAM). Tell me your thoughts, thanks.

captian picard i would love to have you on the SGA Alliance Mod group for texturing the models, as well as clinqnic to create ships, so far we have only got stations, and i have created a hardpoint for clinqnic's alliance warship, its basically the same as dave975 and dkealt's asgard valhalla warship, except it fires dones instead of ion torpedos, has increased sensors, but it doesnt have the asgard pulses like the Odyssey, i kept the basic disruptor-like ion turrents, since the beams were only put on the odyssey after the incident at the ori supergate.
