as a first post here I have kinda awkward request.
When I first bought BC, ages ago, I was intirgued on modding it.
Having Worf as a tactical officer by looks was awesome, but he still had Felix's voice.
So, back then, I found this shareware/freeware audio tool that was very simple in general, but had one awesome feature.
It had an option to make voices appear as "monstrous", "chipmunk" and "robotic".
Now when I imported Felix's lines to the program and used the monstrous setting, he sounded VERY MUCH like Worf. I edited a few lines, but as Felix has tons of spoken lines in game, I dropped the effort and forgot about it.
Now that happened years ago and I have had 2 comps in between and I have no idea what that program was called.
So I wonder if any of you would have the hint, or might even get excited about it too and join me editing Felix's spoken lines so we can have a total conversion for Felix -> Worf.
Once the program is found again of course :) ...
well that will be happening very soon
i'm currently doing a early tng with new uniforms & a make over with all the crew having their voices, mid season crew and a nemesis crew. the voyager crew and uniforms is already out a bcfiles so you no what you'll be getting. these might be at a better standard as the voyager mod was my first mod.
so look under
I think I know the one, discovered it only myself a few days ago. Does Goldwave mean anything to you? I know it's a small, shareware audio editing program, and it does have an option like what you described. Download Link
I actually downloaded GoldWave after posting, as I recalled the name sounded familiar...
But I guess it must have been in earlier versions of it, as the preset was exactly correct without any changes to it, and I can't find such preset on the current version of it.
jb06, are you doing the voices by capping them from DVD?
