Is there anyway to search for just the .BCMOD install files? I only want to download mods that I can install quickly

Cheers guys

all mods should be able to be installed quickly....

and IIRC there isn't a search for it...

yeah, you can't just narrow the search to BCMod files, but quite a few (not all) of them are also located in the zHosted sites>BCMods section, I agree with neb though, most of the non BCMod files are just as easy to install with BCUT, which BTW can also install the BCMod files, eliminating the need for any other programs like BCMP or BCMI

I should add that hardly anything has been released in BCMod format in several years. most newer mods are copy and paste

what got me if I see data and scripts folders, do I copy them into the same folders in my C? then add it with the BMCI?

copy the top 3 folders (with all their subfolders) then put them into the BC folder and allow them to overwrite when asked....

you most likely just have to make the scripts/custom/ships file after that using BCMP or BCUT I'd use BCUT.

heh same with me lolz i actualy downloaded the intimidator class but yet i didnit have to copy any folders i actualy had to install that with the special exe installer that was in its rar zip and also i must point out k some mods can also come with their own exe installers so yea its just a question of compadability and also luck :) lol.
