i already know wot ur thinking.... BC is 2 unstable. i know that.but i was just wondering if it could be done and if some 1 has created a 'Remote Manager' similar to wot they use in BF. i think it might be worth while to make a modification that would allow such use of BC if some 1 could figure out wot is causing the instability, and if possible, correct the probolem. many ppl like the idea of a large (16 person) BC server that runs on a VERY fast line, like a rented server, much like many ppl do in BF. doing something like that would make the game much more interesting. im just brain storming. im not much of a modder so i was hoping i could find some 1 here that knows something about this, and if it could be done, actually make the modification. i was thinking of mabee using 1.2b as the game version. it seems the most stable out of all of the 'un-official' modifications, as well as the most popular. thanx, meat out

well im not really one to know, but i thought all multiplayer stuff was handled by two script files and the exe. And the script files just make up the basic stuff like ships and maps and stuff. The server issues are handled in the exe.

i hope im wrong on this to, cuz this would make BC multiplayer much better to use.

There is a multiplayer update that increases the player limit to 32. I have no idea how good it is or even if it works, but its been lying on the system for quite a while, so you may as well have a look at it and see if it is any help. http://www.bcfiles.com/file.info?ID=24574
