drwho2007;5151827but what im looking for is a jj phase 2 enterprise like the phase 2 enterprise released to download
Then go ask Baz over at the BC Central forums if he can do it for you.
I doubt Baz will take any request, just look at his current WIP list.
In all of BC's 8 year history no one has ever done the Incursion-class from Away Team / Armada II. That'd be cool to see in this game.
uh yeah they have.... though I don't think it was released on BCfiles...
Dont suppose that anyone would be interested in an old sci fi ship series called star blazers?
Dunno if I missed anyone asking this, but....
I'd like a Kelvin-style Sovereign-variant ship. Hull above the saucer section and the single nacelle on the bottom.
If anyone hadn't made it yet, that is. Maybe even a Galaxy-variant of the same style would be nice too.
And I searched with mixed results on if someone made a TOS Style Kelvin-type (which I read up to be an Avery-class, somewhere, but that seems to be a fan made name. Or misinformation) for BC. I have seen shots of a CGI render of it, though. I know a TMP style was being made, but I dunno if that was released yet or not. All in all, a lot of STXI inspired ships making its way to the prime reality stuff would be cool. And vice versa with anything someone hadn't modelled yet. ;)
Hopefully I don't look stupid by posting this. If I missed something, I wouldn't be surprised. My vision has been pretty weird lately.
In-fact....someone should just make a pack if they're up to it and have the time. :P
And I have seen Baz's ships, which are awesome. :P
What about a federation ship based on "aerodynamics?" (Obviously pointless in space, but it looks cool) I was thinking of a ship with an oval saucer (like the sovereign) and an engineering section coming straight out of the back and sovereign-style warp nacelles sideways and horizontally opposed (180 degrees). The navigational deflector could be on the front of the saucer so that engineering would not have to be taller than the saucer. Since the deflector would be hogging the front of the ship, torpedoes could come from turrets on top and or bottom. I've attached a paint picture with a general shape (it should be obvious why I haven't made this ship myself). I've been looking around and I think this layout is "original".
I think the suggestion I made above might work as a frigate: good speed and maneuverability, mediocre armament. As an unrelated suggestion (although it would work on this ship) could a ship have two warp cores and not blow up when it only lost one?
Well. I think that ship may work well as a type of frigate, or maybe even a type of scout-ship. I don't see why you couldn't have the nacelles sideways. Look at the Constellation-class. Yes, it has four, but still. I like your design. Unfortunately, MS paint probably won't do the design much justice...at least until someone models it.
(I wish Baz would somehow stumble over my request, though. Hehe. Of course without him tripping and breaking his neck on the nearest rock or tree....or something. Or....uneven terrain...or...okay, I'll stop.)
Anyways, back to trying to copy over everything regarding my retextured Kelvin-type ship (The USS Sojourn, NCC-0515 (or according to "TOS" TOS, NCC-515). Hadn't seen anyone take the registry yet. I kinda wanted this to be a personal ship that would later contribute to the Nebula-class of the same name many years later.)
Edit: Aww crap. The USS Adad has NCC-515 on another site and it's a Saladin class. ....who cares? This is my ship and I'll darn well keep to my own fanonical wants. Oh well, my mixture of the name and registry make it my own kind of creation anyways. Even if the name is also taken.
Edit 2: Then again, I just looked somewhere and found that the USS Rahman (NCC-514) was a Saladin-class destroyer on active duty in Starfleet during at least the 23rd century. Where as NCC-0514 (or 514) really now is the USS Kelvin. Hmm...this is confusing.
How about someone taking a stab at the new JJ D7's: Klingon warbird - Memory Alpha, the Star Trek Wiki
