I was reading on an another forum discussing if Kirk shouldn't be brought back from the dead for another trek film. I personally believe he shouldn't since reason he died was some what 'fitting' for him.

hell no. They killed him off and now leave him for dead. not to mention, if anyone hasn't read many box office reveiws, Patrick stewarts not willing to be Captain Picard anymore in any star trek films cuz of the bomb Nemesis made in the box office. He might do another if hes killed in it, but if you kill a charecter off. Leave him dead. don't do a whole temporal thing, going back into time to prevent war with romulans blah blah blah and all that who ha. So if there even thinkin of bringing kirk back don't. And even if they did decide to bring him back, shatners getting pretty old, i don't think he would have the endurance to make a full movie other then a few scenes.

Kirk may be tough, but shatners starting to feel age creepin up on him

Thats all i have. (sry for upsettin the balance of trekdom, im pretty Pi*Sed off here at school for reasons)

Yes i have to agree with captain fish, Kirk is dead, get over it. Shame about Picard but he has done too much now, i think the next movie should be a Deep Space Nine movie. It really pisses me off that people still want Kirk to come back and i wish that people should get over it. PS i am really pissed of with school aswell so excuse my language but this needed to be said. Jdiplock

I think that they should leave Kirk and move on because they already decided to kill him off and hes made 6 movies that more than enough for 1 independant show. It's also a shame that Patrick Stewart wont do anymore TNG Films because i really wanted to know what would happen to B4 and whos ganna Replace Data as XO. I think They Should atleast write a book on it if there not willing to make another movie for all of the people who are intrested in knowing what happened. i Also agree that Kirk is getting old. Well that's it.

ALL u guys who think Kirk should stay dead are CRAZY. First of all, he has already been ressurected through borg technology and some technology that has existed before even the Borgs time. Kirk was greater in combat than any other captain. Yes, he was better than Picard, Archer, and even Sisko. The novels bring out that fact better than any of the movies. As for the guy who says Kirk had no diplomatic skills: YOUR CRAZY. Kirk had excellent ability to take control of a situation through diplomatic means, especially since he had a strong grip of logic just as Spock said. He picked up on everything some one said and used it to take control through diplomatic means when no other way was possible. Which leads me to another point. Kirk ALWAYS found a way. He saw what everyone else didnt. If u combine Kirk and Picard you have an unbeatable team. Those 2 would do pretty good together in the 24th century. Kirk and his bridge crew alone could come back and be perfect for this new star trek universe . You would have Scotty finding new ways to use 24th century fed technology(he engineered many of the break throughs for the sovereign class), McCoy would do the same with medical(still alive at 148 years old), Spock is the ultimate diplomat(his inner conflict with human and vulcan side would be great), Chekov is Commander and Chief of Starfleet, Sulu is still doin his thang, and KIRK is a combination of ALL of them. Kirk did amazing stuff with a Constitution-class vessel. Imagine what he could do with a SOVEREIGN OR PROMETHEUS CLASS SHIP(MVAM). Just as Spock said," THERE ARE ALWAYS POSSIBILITIES." I advise all of you to read William Shatner's novel that put him as one of the main focuses. NEMESIS OUT
