I actually want to know how the uss voyager is being qualified. Rick Sternbach told it was a stronger and more state of the art ship than the enterprise- D. How is it then qualified? intrepidwall.jpg

I always wondered about that myself. Since it's stronger than the Enterprise-D, why does it appear so under-powered in games such as BC and Armada?!

Exactly thats it I dont get it in voyager episodes they fight against a tactical cube "heavily armed" said 7 of 9 and what do you get in games a stupid destroyer or a scout forgive me but is crazy she's in good sake a warship or an explorer. Tom Paris mentioned in a episode in season 1 or 2 at Harry who was playing with his musical intrument that that the bulkheads werent designed for luxury but for combat!!

Yep, exactly my point. On the show, they go the WHOLE WAY THROUGH BORG SPACE and they come out of it living. All of the crew are still living, which is harder to believe than anything. I think even a Sovereign would have a lot of trouble in Borg Space. But I guess Captain Janeway's "Deal with the devil" to get on the Borg side actually worked. But then they fight Species 8472, something that is brave albeit stupid even for the Borg, as Species 8472 is da bomb as far as weapons go! Yep, but in the game, the Intrepid is barely even an ancillary character in the sceme of things. :uhm: In my mod of Armada 2, the Intrepid is pretty much a ship of combat. It can do serious damage to a Borg cube, though it will be destroyed, but it still can hold its own and survive the day with its special weapons and strength. The Defiant is also supposed to be one rugged beast, albeit small. In the game, however, the Defiant can barely handle a Dominion Bug while on DS9, the Defiant flew through a massive army of Dominion Dreadnoughts and survived! Haha! But I guess the game is more-or-less accurate in that a ship that small no matter what technology it has can't stand up to superior hull integrity and pure size of larger ships.

Also in a episode tuvok was back educating a few maquis people. He did a simulation that they were under attack by 3 romulan warbirds. If am thinking correct they did managed do disable or destroy 1 but they were destroyed but standed i think for 5 or 10 minutes!! In TNG the enterprise D was under attack by 1 and there shields were already down or when the warbird of tomalak was against the enterprise D because there was a romulan with geordie on the planet and the couldnt beam them out, Picard told that they couldnt match and he lowered the shields for been diplomatic sjeezs people look at the facts!!!! In Nemesis on the screen the fleet that was waiting was being led by the USS Intrepid as a flagship and there was the uss galaxy!! In DS9 the Bellerophon was transporting high people to Romulus why took an admiral this ship? Because its the fastest and the strongest one!!!!!! and when is Armaggedon mod ready for downloading?:)

Why is it possible to do al those things that a galaxy cannot? Why does the makers are saying that voyager is stronger than a galaxy?

Voyager IS a science and scout ship. the only reason it survived all of the encounters with the Borg is because it had a type of a "god" mode on, with a temporal anamoly, or some ingenious tactic/invention by the crew to save them. the only thing it can do better than a Galaxy is maybe compute things better (bio-neural gel packs) and go faster at warp

I read in the Official Star Trek Mag yesterday that the Voyager has Type X Phasers and Photon/Quantum-Torpedo tubes
