All who oppose Star Trek--->:assimilate: :assimilate:
Voyager was a Godsend. It was the next logical step. Ds9 now that was crap. I can't quite remember, but did anything ever actually happen on that show? It was more like a soap opera than a star trek series. You gotta have the exploring. And all they did was sit on their collective asses and talk about how the wormhole was big and shiny, but dangerous...
Oh, y'know, nothing major happened. They just discovered a wormhole into an unexplored QUADRANT of the galaxy, brought the Federations first ever pure battleship into active service, brought the Bajoran civilisation from the brink by establishing the remotest Federation outpost in history, discovered some nonliniar beings which chose the station commander to be their 'earthly messenger', discovered angered the local gamma-quadrant superpower and started a war which lasted a year or two and was the largest and most dramatic war the Federation ever faced, which strengthened relations between the Federation and their all-time mortal enemies the Romulans, and the defeat and occupation of Cardassia Prime which saw the end of the war and the removal of a main alpha-quadrant power. Apart from that, and a bunch of other stuff, not much happened on DS9 :D.
I agree though, Trek is about a ship on its own exploring the far reaches of the galaxy. Voyager was Trek. It might have lost continuity once or twice in minor places, but all-in-all it was an excellent series, and I can't believe they've gone over to Enterprise after that. Enterprise. Apparently everyone forgot about another starship Enterprise. They also forgot what it looked like when they designed the Akira-class. They even forgot what the registry was - TOS USS Enterprise should actually have been NX-01-A. We should be on NX-01-F right now then. Apparently the crew of the original (sorry, the second) Enterprise 'forgot' they had access to phasers when they were in their first couple of episodes using lasers. And apparently Quo'nos is only 2 days away at warp 4. That would put it, what, over by Mars somewhere :D? Oh wait, the directors, writers and producers just forgot everything they've been doing since the 60s and have decided to rewrite Trek now that Gene's work is all completed...
lol
DS9 WAS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!
DS9 was good. Voyager was better!
DS9 was the most political, more changed in that show then any other
That is the most perfect way to describe DS9:agreed:
