Because I am extremely ADD, I have several projects set in front of me. I recently aquired some models that are in WRL format. Here come da question:

What do you use to open them? For the life of me, I can't figure it out, and I have both MS3D and 3DMAX and don't know if it is an import option (at least I can't see one)

VRML (.wrl) is a mathmatical import/export format that was an early standard for delivering 3D content on the web. VRML is an acronym for Virtual Reality Modeling Language. It may have evolved to ASCII, not sure about that. There is a plugin for use with Ultimate Unwrap 3D at their homepage. That is the program I used for mapping models, when milkshape was all I had. Hope this helped.:)

that actually helps alot, thnx. so is there a way to import WRL files into milkshape? because the models i have are in WRL format (one ent-j two fighter jets and one i cant disclose quite yet) but i am unable to access them as it seems to be an "export only" plugin.

another Q on top of that, the only thing I can find when i search for a way to import WRL into milkshape or 3dmax is something that says it will decompile a WRL to text. Is that an option?
