1. There is a problem with Brex when using this mod, http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/NX_Era_Uniform_Mod;64746 His head looks weird, like some sort of alien-human hybrid. I downloaded the 'Chief Tucker' that was linked in the 'NX Era Uniform Mod', installed it, turned on the mutator in the BC configuration menu but Brex's head is still weird looking. If I turn off the 'NX Era Uniform' mutator, Brex looks like what he is supposed to look like in the 'Chief Tucker' mod description. How can I get the 'Chief Tucker' mod and 'NX Era Uniform' mod to work togther?

2. Spawning LCARS-See the picture. The Problem is pretty much self-explainitory. This happened after installing this, http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/Intrepid_Bridge_Retexture_Low_Res;36885 (Yes I did have the required bridge installed before installing this update). How do I fix it? lcars-spawning.jpg

1- The error with the head is caused for a bad .nif file. I suffered it before. 2- The bad LCARS might be caused for a required plugin. Be sure you installed the correct bridge plugin, say Bridge Plugin or Bridge Plugin Core. also it can be a card problem. I had some bugs with my old GFX card running at higher resolutions than the optimal

1. That doesnt help me FIX the Brex problem.

2. This bridge retexture was released before Bridge Plugin Core so there cant be a problem there. Its gotta be something else.

Thanks for trying though. I would still like some help with these problems.

If you wanna fix Brex's problem, just replace his head with a new, clean, .nif file. Compare the original Brex texture with your modded texture, if you notice that the faces are placed out of place, then reinstall brex's head from scratch and delete the mod.

How do I make a .nif file then?

I had the same problem (number 2), i think it is a problem with the retexture its self.

you'll need 3dstudio (or another modelling program) and milkshape 3d for the conversion script. I don't recommend you do this, cus the faces and bodies are quite different to the ships. All you can do is restoring a clean model from BC default installation. or, test a quick solution: copy another face (say, miguel_head.nif) to brex's folder and rename it to Brex_head.nif (or however its name is). If the head appears in the game, problem fixed.
