Anywho, you'll pretty much have to start over with BC,

not true - if people look at a stickied thread in this forum, they'll see how to deal with the BSOD!! it means, taking a screenshot of the console report! not sure how? read the thread! it is practically never necessary to ever have to reinstall BC if you know how to troubleshoot! how to troubleshoot? do some research (which means searching and reading...)
