hmm... what mods are you trying to install? i remember having this problem once, but it corrected itself somehow...
Do you have any Firewall or Pop-up-blocker installed. If you do than that may be the case. Deactivate them or check the settings. Its not the mod you are trying to install. Did it yesterday. Hope it works.

ive never tried it this way, but...
try BCMIing it into a temporary folder, and then move everything into the right spots
Thanks, but that still didn't do it
Well, i have an idea this might be a pain in the butt, but i would love if someone went through the trouble to do this for me. If you could acutally track down what bcmi put into the game and where and if you could e-mail that to me or somtehing so if someone would do that it would be greatly appreaciated!

did it even place the files into the temp. folder? if so, did you use BCMP to put it into the game?
if not, try uninstalling BCMI, and install it again... except, when you first run it, make sure that you arent installing any mods so that the foundation can be put in right

i wouldnt mind doing it... as soon as i found out how to... edit: ok, how about doing this first... try changing the directory of where BCMI installs to into something else, so it might work then, and not require any effort at all :D ugh, and BCMI was supposed to be the easy way to install things
