I thought that I could get it to work without help but I guess I can't. I am trying to install KM so I can install stargate mappack. But when I installed KM it gave me the black screen of death. I have done everything it said in the readme. I did a clean install, intalled foundation, my game was pre-loaded with 1.1 patch, then I intalled KM. Here is my report I took. 53854101fe9.jpg

I have solved the problem by adding a required file that winzip did not pick up due to it being empty

would you mind to tell WHICH file?? there are more winzip users who could expect the same problem...so they want to know which filethat was and HOW excactly you found the right file ;)

do not take it personally, but i do not like forumposts where users are asking...and a day later resolving their problems without telling what they did to resolve it ;)

I saw a similar solution at the official KM boards. Here's what was there:

Create a new folder named "Logs" in the following directory. (....BC Directory....)\scripts\Custom\GravityFX\ This is a required folder, and is sometimes not supplied by extracting the archive. (kobmaru1.0full.zip)

Seems to have helped some folks. Apparently when extracting, empty folders might get skipped so just add that folder in. Hopefully this is what he was talking about.

Same as the problem getting the screen shots folder during installation in a previously created thread. Empty folders are ignored by many systems when copying over...

ya that was it you needed to create a folder called logs in the \scripts\Custom\GravityFX\ so it will be \scripts\Custom\GravityFX\logs
