Yo all, it's been a while.

I recently downloaded the NX Mod Pack. An excellent file, much thanks to its creator(s). Playing as any of these ships is no problem and they handle real well.

However, should I choose to put one of these ships in an opposing or allied fleet, as soon as it is within visual range the screen goes black but the gameplay continues. If I go to warp, the graphics are fine until the NX ship arrives in the 'warp tube' with me, and the graphics stuff up again once its drops out of warp at your destination.

I believe this problem is NanoFX-related, and if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

The problem is a blank screen. No need for a screenshot.

The displays remain in place. You can zoom up on the problem ship, too (but you won't see much). Weapons and everything are still functional. I believe I heard some people had this problem in the past, but I cannot be certain.

I think I'll try reinstalling NFX and if that doesn't work I'll have to rely on some of your suggestions.

Any more ideas?

For some odd reason I can't take a screenshot of the console dump, however all it is is NanoFX complaining about one of the systems in Systems Pack 14.

However, I did manage to take the following images. You can see that in #1, the Columbia is working fine. However, in number 2, Shockwave NX-01 is simply not there. The screen would go black once you got closer.

Thoughts, anyone?

perhaps you should try in windowed mode, if you can't grab a console dump... there should be another error window that pops up when in windowed mode...

nope. there've been no abnormal message in prompt. Maybe it's just the different versions of the NX-01 that are causing the screw ups, I dunno. I'll keep you appraised of any more developments, meantime more suggestions would be appreciated.

I've had this one myself. Deleting the vox debug files may help, also reinstalling NFX2 may help too. My final solution to the problem involved either re-doing the nfx blinkers for the ship, or a fresh install. I think the problem is blinker related though.
