For some reason, my mutators won't scroll. I've tried UUM and the mutator scrolling mod, but none seem to work. I've heard that the patch won't install on Vista, this may be the problem. Any way to fix this? I'm running Koybayashi Maru along with the KB patch.

well you need the BC 1.1 patch to be installed before installing KM... also, try reinstalling UMM... keep in mind, KM1.0 is very soon near releasing, so if youre still stuck, you can always just hang on until then...
hasnt there been alot of problems with vista & games this is wat ive heard im not sure if its true
Hmmm. Just did a reinstall on a different computer with Vista and the patch seems to work because the USS Zhukov's registry is fixed. I'll let you know if it works.
Figured it out. If anyone else is having this problem (seems to only happen on my notebook for some reason), the problem was the 1.1 patch for BC. I fixed it by installing the patch to a separate folder and then manually moving the files to the Bridge Commander folder.
Vista sucks. It is too picky. People on other forums stated that if there are scratches on the BC disk, it won't install. I have a Dell Precision M6300 with 4gb of memory and a 512mb nVidia Quadro FX 1600M video adapter. When I have my Vista hard drive installed (Vista Enterprise), BC gets 3% into the install and fails stating it cannot copy a URL. If I pull my hard drive and put my XP Hard drive in (with SP2), BC installs just fine. So how is that XP will let it install with the EXACT same hardware and CD, yet Vista complains of a file it cannot copy? Is there an algorithm that more intensly scrutinizes the disk during the file copy process?
For the record, VISTA AND BC ARE FULLY COMPATIBLE. I have used BC with Vista for the past 5 months and have had 0 problems. Stop whining and stay on topic.
The vista cd is good for traction in the snow, nothing more. (Personal opinions are not endorsed by FileFront )
What's so wrong with Vista?! Like Kirk, I've had it for a while, and love it!
If vista works for you, rock on bro. I studied Windows 2000 back in my microsoft days, so I may be a bit bias. Pay no attention to 'ol Scotty.
