so here is my dilema...im not super proficient at using a computer (command lines make me sick!) so i have had bc since it came out and just recently found all the mods available so i decided to resurect an old habit. i installed bc and placed a quick battle it all worked fine...then i installed the v1.1 mod thing and it was fine played some more and got bored...so i did the kobmaru thing it installed but wouldnt come up with any new ships or anything so i uninstalled bc and re installed it then i got the bsod...i tried to follow the steps by inserting that testmode thing into the shortcut but it wouldnt let me save it...like i said im really bad with this stuff so if anyone can help me id appreciate it and if this is in the wrong area im sorry the sticky just didnt help. ps im running vista if it matters

ok, try deleting the options.cfg, if that doesn't work uninstall and delete the BC folder then reinstall.

In the BC directory look for "compatability files" at the top. That takes you to the hidden virtualstore folder. Delete the BC folder there and go back into the normal BC directory and delete that folder. To avoid this again install ALL games to the games folder.
