OK.. well I just got meself a new PC, have WinXP on and have been playing Bridge Commander for a while. But suddenly, after running windows update, I can't run the game! It just says that it has to terminate as soon as I try to run it. I've tried reinstalling etc but nothing works :(

Hey, if you ran windows update and it messed up your BC installation, you should be able to run a restore, from a previous restore point...you probably got some crapy drivers for your CD-ROM. if you goto START-Programs-Accessories-System tools. You should see something that says RESTORE...it will give you options to restore back to a point before the update. Give that a try and see if it works! :smokin:

Windows XP doesn't mess up BC. I have XP and I play it all the time. You do most likely have corrupt drivers for something. What kind of computer? If HP then there is your reason. For some unknown reason HP never wants to work right. Try some different drivers and like he said, try system restore to before you installed the updates. If these dont work you got 2 options. 1) You can reinstall Windows or 2) you can format your hard drive and reinstall Windows and all your other software. Those are the only ways I know that you can fix such a problem.
