I don't know if there's a way to fix this, but before, I had many ships and mods installed chosen by my self and in the game, after I destroyed a ship, it's hull would remain ingame. Now I have KM1.0 and they just vanish right after they get destroyed... no debris, no parts, nothing. Is there any way to change this?:confused:
what setting do you have the damage textures set on? medium or below can cause the "disappearing act" when there is a huge amount of damage.
Actually, doesn't KM automatically delete the wreckage once it's destroyed?
yes, thats a default feature. but the amount of visible damage your game is displaying can affect what the ships look like before they are deleted. EX: on high damage, every where you shoot you get high quality damage textures, versus on low, where you get a general dousing of poor quality damage textures or even none, then u blow up
Its got nothing to do with that at all.
Go to Configure...Customise...DS9FX...Misc Options and turn off Stabilise BC
that should make the debris stay.
Thanx JB, that fixed it. I swithced off, then applied the modifications to ds9, it told me to exit the game for it to take effect, I did and when I tried a mission the wreckage remained. Thanx for the prompt help, guys.
