the multiplayer checks to make sure that all parties have the exact same files, so there's no cheating (ie, using a god ship)... you must have a mod installed that changed the look of your main menu... that's why you can't play

do you have foundations installed on your Multiplayer BC? that causes it to. You must have a multiplayer clean, a multiplayer-moded(ex. BC with the MPMP mod, or EOL1.3) and your modded single player.

wait... you mean you dont have the mod? i thought that you had a mod that changes the look of your main menu, and that was messing it up... never mind what i said before then... my advice would be to go ahead and do what Captain Fish said Edit: all of the mods that we're talking about are available on BCFiles

Always check before joining a multiplayer tournament that you have downloaded and installed all the requirements for that game. Some will have labels like "clean install" (ie no mods) or "eol 1.3" pointing to specific mod packs. This is to ensure if two people are playing, one isn't using a ship that doesn't exist on the other install, or a ship eg a soveriegn for which a multiplicity of versions exist. Usually helps to announce here that you want a game with a particular set of mods, or set up with friends within the community.

no, there's nothing wrong with it... it all depends on what mods you have, which allow you to enter the games...
