Hey, all. I'm having a bit of a problem here. I bought BC a couple years ago and immediately got everything working perfectly - all the mods - everything. Then I needed the space on my computer and uninstalled everything.

Now I can't seem to get it working and I think it's something with Foundation. QB 2.3 works great, but the "mutators" option I remember on the "configure" tab is not there. I'm not sure what mod puts that option there.

I think it's a foundation thing because whenever I run BCMP, it tells me at every opportunity that Foundation is not installed. It asked me if I want to install Foundation, I click yes, and BCMP installs Foundation - until I click on any tab within BCMP. Then it again tells me that Foundation is not installed.

I hope that's enough detail to be helpful. If anyone can help me out, I'd be appreciative. Thanks!

Just wondering (because groggy people can't understand stuff): do you wait for BCMP to tell you that Foundation Installation is complete, or do you click install then switch to another tab.

To answer the question of the configure button, try installing Unified Main Menu

laguardia: the configurebutton part is the part with the mutator part, the mutator button is part of foundation....if foundation is not installed, he probably can't use UMM

if Vista: run the BCMP as administrator.. if xp: check if you've got the rights to install stuff in the bc folder in program files...

I think I figured it out. Looks like I didn't configure BCMP to search the correct folder. Once I set it to my root BC directory, everything worked fine.

I hope everyone else who posts in these help forums makes dumb mistakes like this. Stupidity loves company too.

Thanks for the help guys!
