Hey Guys!

Well, well - OK, i'm a totally BC-Mods noob ... ;) i've leeched several Mods (Ships, Bridges, Skins ...) and after installing the UK-Version of BC i've patched it up to v. 1.1 (most freshest, right ?!?). Then I started unzipping the bridge Files to the root directory of BC. But I can't even choose one of them ... so what's wrong?? Do I have to bind them to the game with an extrenal tool or what I've made wrong?

A list of unzipped Bridges:

  • bcexcelsiorbridge.zip
  • bopbridge2.0.zip
  • ctu_bridge_patch.zip
  • defiant_3.0.rar
  • defiantholocom.rar
  • enterprisebbridge1.0.rar
  • nxbridge2.0.zip

Hope, you can help me with my prob ...

Ehmmm, I think after we fixed up this issue I need some additional advice about installing several ships and stations ... which tool for wich type of file and such things ..

Thank you in advance, please excuse my terrible english grammar :p! Happy eastern!

Argh! Forget it! After I've installed the BCUT 1.4 the Bridges work fine more or less ... now I've encountered the next Problem: I tried to install a new ship (C2Valdore). I followed the orders in the readme file and copied all the content to the BC root, then I started the BCUT and created the Plugin, but there is no Valdore avaiable ... what's wrong now???

Again, thank you in advance!

Do you have installed Foundation? It's included in Bridge Commander Universal Tool, Bridge Commander Downloads, Bridge Commander Utilities for example. Possibly you also need Bridge Plugin Core, Bridge Commander Downloads, Bridge Commander Core Files for the bridges. Also make sure that all mutators are activated in options.

Refer to the included readme. Most files you simply have to extract to your BC directory. Some require that you create a plugin. Bcut is the tool of choice for this.

Files that come in BCMOD format need to be opened with an external program. Again BCUT can do this.

Did you point Bcut to your BC directory? Otherwise it will install the plugin to the BCUT directory. Look in Bridge Commander\scripts\custum\ships if the plugin is there.

OK, think I've fixed nearly all of my problems now ... there is in fact just one remaining:

When im in control of an Klingon ship (e.g. Vor'cha or Targ'var or the ones from the Dominion War-Ship-Pack) and I want to fire a torpedo, I'll get back to Windows without an error window ... what happened here, I think a bad sound modification or such crap ...

How can I fix this without re-installing the game?? There is so much additional modding I just not want to do again ...

In hope for help, the DaDDeL! Happy eastern!! Don't mess up with the rabbit

The projectile file for the torpedo is missing. You can either change the ships hardpoint to use the stock torpedo (Tactical.Projectiles.KlingonTorpedo) with MPE included in Bridge Commander SDK, Bridge Commander Downloads, Bridge Commander or you could try to find the missing torpedo.

Edit: I've included some commen projectiles. These go into scripts\tactical.

If your gonna be putting a lot of stuff into your install I suggest get KM 1.0 and adding on to that. Star Trek: Bridge Commander Modification (Full Install) Kobayashi Maru 1.0 Full Download File on FileFront Oh, and make sure you download BCUT aswell so you can add everything easily(never download BCMI or BCMP). At minimum this is the recommended standard BC install.1.1 patchSDKKM1.0latest BCUT
