hi, im new to the game and im having problems hosting a game online, the game doesnt show up in the game list and others cant join me. can anyone help, thanks joseph davis
A few quick things to check before the more complicated problems are explored:
1) Firewall may be interfering... 2) Can you join and play other people's multiplayer games? 3) Are you on dialup (if the connection between you and other players, the ping time, is too bad, you won't appear on their game list)? 4) You have selected 'internet' from the internet/LAN choice? 5) You have actually started the game? 6) You have given yourself and the game names which you have passed onto others 7) The others know your game is in progress?
Any more for any more...?
Also, what type of multiplayer is it? Clean 1.1? MPMP? etc
