imparanoidhave u tried firing the torps with the "g" key? ____________________________________________________________________ I also have a prob today for the first time i went against the mvam galaxy but i destroyed him and he didnt even separate can ya tell me why?

Yes, but those are the OTHER torpedoes. I am talking about the normal ones, not the disruptor-style ones.

There are no other ones, all the torps fire of the disruptor key.

Then why are there torpedoe-esque circles where the launchers usually are on the weapons schematic in the bottom corner? Not to mention, why don't they turn red or grey every time you fire, and why doesn't the number of torp's available go down?

I changed the disruptor Icon to a torpedo one. They won't go grey or red when fired because the launchers are set up in parallel to get the 'burst' effect.

The ship MUST have a torpedo system with torps, since its using the disruptor system you torp count won't go down, but a least you know what your firing.

That's not a problem ;) Did we see the Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) seperate in every episode of TNG?

Answer that question, and hopefully you'll figure out why the Galaxy doesn't seperate under any old circumstances.

(hint: if you want it to seperate, try pitting a lot of ships against it... try 4 against the galaxy)

matt: I heard someone got that problem with a bad quickbattle.py as well. Try reinstalling nanofx 2.0

I'd rather just upgrade from 2.12 first and see what happens. NanoFX is reinstalled but it took my 1 ghz machine half an hour with nanofx using all the cpu! >.> <.< Hopefully it should work.

ok. I've got MVAM working great, down to a science... At least it works great without NanoFX installed. *troubleshooting* I tried the various MVAM galaxies against a KLINGON BIRD OF PREY *emphasis* It's taking me awhile... awhile to dent its shields with just the phasers! Pretty weak. Also, for some of the galaxy classes, I think the torpedo firing control is a little awkward. I can't fire many in a short period of time. Other then that, great work with the MVAM infinite. Especially when I get it working correctly. :D ;)
