I think I need some help: I installed MVAM Infinite and it doesn't appear and I wanted to ask if there is something I have to do/know when I install a Mod since I am not very excperienced in BC modding!

under the config menu there should be the menu for mutators, turn them on

Also, make sure you have any requirements

also, you should familiarize yourself with the "search" function here, and also go thru stickied threads... there are answers all over the place, you just have to try to find them first :)

If you're starting off from the CD, the first things you need are the 1.1 patch and the Foundation. The patch can be got from bcfiles and stuck straight in. There are three ways to get the foundation through BCfiles:

1) Get either BCMP or BCMI and open them once. They will detect your install and automatically stick the foundation in 2) Get an old version of the standalone foundation from the 'outdated abyss' section of bcfiles (not recommended) 3) Get Kobayashi Maru. This is a large mod pack with all sorts of things (including MVAM Infinite, I think... the new one will have if this one doesn't) including the foundation.

Once the foundation is in there, go to configure and then you'll see a button called mutators. These are mods, or categories of mods and they have to be active for the mod/category to work.

THEN instal whatever mod you're after (just so long as all the requirements are in place - see the readme and the download page - and requirements for requirements etc etc etc, it's not normally that complicated, but when you've got a million mods in there, it will be).

If you have a fast connection, 3) is the best option. If not, then 1) is. 2) is there for information.
