Basically it is just unzip (into a seperate folder, somkind of Temporary folder) and copy the files over into you main BC folder. but have you got the klingon crew to go with that Bridge? Look here http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/Klingon_Crew_w_mutator;30739

Have you patched your game and added the foundation?

The patch (availabled from bcfiles as 1.1 patch) updates the game a little, the foundation allows mods to be added to the game. To get the foundation, download either BCMP or BCMI and run them, they are standalone programs and the first thing they do is check your bc instal and if the foundation isn't there, they put it in. Then, under the configuration menu within the game, a new button called mutators appears. Click on this and you'll be given a list of 'mutators' that enable or disable groups of mods. Enable all initially (and beware, some mods like to turn off mutators for some reason, so you may have to re-enable after adding some particular things).

Also check that there are no requirements for the mod you want listed either in the readme or on the download page (check the info at the top of the page). Requirements can include other mods being included/excluded or special installation instructions, for example.

I won't bother adding anything, MilleauRekiir pretty much covered it all there ;). All I'll say is, Welcome.
