Would appreciate any help I can get. I used to take tons of screen shots but eversince I started using KM .9 and then 1.0 I can't take any... I don't know if I just forgot which button to use or what, or rather if it is taking shots my pc is hiding them from me! they used to appear in the main BC folder I would say I have not been ableto take a shot for over a year and the only photos i have are of the original Galaxy class from the Vanilla game. I honestly have even gone so far as to reload the game and then just add HM by itself still no dice... I am obviously doing something wrong. so as stupid as it may sound please take me by the hand and tell me how to take a screen shot as though I'm in kindergarten and tell me also where to find the pics. thank you in advance. First of all make sure your pressing the Print Screen key (Prnt Scrn) or if you have a laptop, sometimes you need to press fn the printscreen.

Second, if you have vista and your bc install is in program files, vista doesn't allow the screenshots to be added. Simple solution move your install out of program files.

Thirdly, if you havent got vista than a way round it is just to open up photoshop or paint and copy it into there.

well actually that maybe the case but even so I still don't know where the Screen shots would be located in the BC files to see if they are there, that is why I asked for someone to go step by step as though they were explaining to a child in kindergarten. I am using windows XP on a desktop

Well I looled in both the one that I have KM set up and the brand new one that I just uploaded straight from cd (completely clean and unaltered) and there is no folder that says screenshots or anything resembling it. when I hit the screenshot button (print screen) or any other button that I designate ti to be the game pauses as though it is taking a picture just like it used to but then when I look into the folders nothing is there, I even made a folder in both games labeled screenshots... and nothing, I really appreciate your help but I'm at a loss, something is missingbut I don't understand how, and I find it hard to beleive thatthis is happening. and that I am the ony one to expiriance this. I remeber when I first tried to do screen shots I couldn't figure it out then either and i'm not sure what changed but here I am again.

There should be a folder in your BC directory named "Screen shots" It's worked for me for the past few years. If it's not there by default, just create it.

Actually, I did. He created a folder called "Screenshots". Different spacing.

Plus if you look on the CD, the folder is there, ready to be copied, but as it is an empty folder doesn't normally go over during installation. Copy it over, or create one with the exact spacing and case of every letter, and it should work.
