I recently purchased the above Samsung dlp and was trying to play BC on it though vga cable. Between playing around with vid settings and tv settings I was able to get it to work once or twice.

However most of the time I get D3D render error the attempted full screen resolution is not supported.

The one or two times it did work the ship looked slightly stretched horizontally.

I installed powerstrip and defiend the two recommended resolutions 1280 X 720 and 1248X 702 but these looked worse from the standard windows screen and still I received the same error message regarding the unsupported resolution when trying to launch the game.

Can anyone provide me with a clue on how to get this working?

Thks Chris

I did. Res on TV supposed to be either 1280 X 720 with overscan or 1246X702 without.

I set my display settings accordingly but no dice. game wont launch. UNless theres some other config problem with the powerstrip settings.

Launches fine on my LCD PC monitor but not the tv

Problem is it wont launch to let it get to that point.

I guess Ill try selecting the res when hooked up to the monitor then switch over after selected.

Ok, set your pc screen res to a know size, like 800x600 Use the clone function and clone your display to the TV.

Set BC to 800x600 and try it. This should work

How do I do that?

Is the clone function part of powerstrip or of BC?
