I just recently got the power mod v0.4.1 to work (I think.) I think I may have found a strange bug. I was playing around with the power on my premonition, I was fighting a galor just to test it out. I like the features of the mod, but I think the impulse engines need to be able to be boosted. The manueverability of the premonition is frustrating. But back to the point, after destroying the galor, I lowered my shields to get them to recharge faster. One of them was at 1%, not sure why. One thing I didn't like was that when one of the shields is powered, it doesn't show it on the tactical display which I thought was weird but I guess that might be hard to do. The really important bug was that when I brought my shields back up to 100%, all of my shields except my forward shield had to recharge completely. I have no clue why this happened and I am sure it is not because the galor got that many shots off at me. And no, my shield generator wasn't destroyed (my front shield was fine) Another thing, when I installed either this mod or engineering extension (not sure which caused it), quickbattle 2.3 stopped working... it doesn't go beyond the loading screen. Any ideas? I've been reading some of the other posts. I have some dominion ships installed and the latest version of engineering extension as well as the warp intercept mod. I have no clue how to bring the console up or how to copy an output onto the site, which it seems like I'll need to do.

hmmm this is starting to sound like a major bug, alot of people are haveing problems within the power mod with systems.

However, before i deem this as a bug, i read in the Readme, that the power mod specificly states, after you boost ANYTHING over 150 it becomes damaged, while i have not been able to get the mod to work properly inside the game, if you bosted your sheilds accidently to 200, then you might have damaged your sheild generator to disabled, then when it repaired, it had to restart from 0 on all sheilds.

According to Brex's repair list, my shield generator wasn't damaged. I did boost it to 200% to see what would happen and I didn't notice any difference. Maybe my shield generator took some strange kind of damage, but that doesn't explain why one of my shields was still fully charged.

how do you get the power mod to work i download it and put the files in the right place b ut nothing happends after i start the game

Only the weapons when fireing. I don't count the Shield Generator as a weapon. - When you unload your Shields to 0% they will be totally unloaded, so you have to recharge then completly! - When you lower your shields they doesn't recharge faster - its only a myth that they will recharge faster! - When one of your Shields doesn't show up in the tactial Display then you have a simple problem: That shield is not powered!

So... whenever I set the shields to 0 in the advanced power distribution, I have to recharge them completely? Regardless of whether or not setting shields to 0 increases the recharge rate, it allows you to recharge your warp core faster, which is especially useful in the single player campaign. So are you saying, Defiant, that I have to keep my shields up to recharge them?

use Brex normal Power panel - when you set the Shield Power to 0 in Brex main Panel the shields will be switched off.
