Problem with P81's Nx-01 which affects torpedoes. -1 reply

Well hello there, Okay basically I installed Rock Knox's Nx-01 Enterprise, and although the installation went well, ever since a lot of the torpedoes in my game have went spaztic on me. When tey fire, from ships such as the Xindi Insectoid(and many others), the torpedoes come out as squares. Now on a lot of them, I can actually see what the torpedo is supposed to look like through the squares, so I don't have a clue what's up. I'm relatively new to modifying this game, but I've been quick to learn a few things, in the meantime I'll look through my scripts files to see if anything went wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Rhyan Carter .

I have the same problem. The torpedoes look like really bad textured squares.

that problem is associated with nanofx. Did you reinstall nanofx2?

make sure that the NanoFX mutator is turned on... also, NFX cant run simultaneously with ATP, so you gotta pick one or the other... but, you might get them to work together though

you are missing one of the textures for that torpedo probably the glow texture. just edit the torpedo script to use one of the glows you do have

...Yeah see... I don't know how to do that... I've not had much expertise in modifying weapons scripts... Also I don't have Future Technologies, purely for the fact that I know it will interfere with NanoFX2.0. But I can't see how it could be related to NanoFX? I mean the NX-01 doesn't have any features requiring NanoFX as far as I'm aware, so I don't know why installing it would interfere with those scripts? *shrug*

Okay and I also just reinstalled NanoFX, no change, the boxes around the torpedo textures are still there... A few of the torpedoes do work, but most have that problem, so I don't know what's affecting some and isn't affecting the others...
