Sorry if there are already answers for these but I don't know where to find them. I'm kinda a noob with BC. I have 1.1 and EOL 1.3 expansion. I have also downloaded and added many other ships to my game. When I play quick battle, often times my game will crash, usually when much action is happening and always when I fight AGAINST a borg cube, not as it. (then I'm fine) I have tried to mess with the display setting but I'm not very sure with what I'm doing. When the game crashes it just gives me an option to send an error report then it closes out to my desktop. Also my single player mode doesn't work. I've made backups of all my saves so if I need a fresh install to play them I could do that. Help would be appreciated. If you need more info on my system let me know and I'll see what I can do. cya.gif

Your game probably crashes when playing against the Cube, because you probably take a large fleet against it, and your system can't handle that. Just to make sure, can you post your system specs? Saved games crashing is a known problem, which almost everyone has. All you have to do is use the TestMode cheat, and then you'll have access to all of the missions, so you can just start from where you left off without having to use saves.

OK, systems specs. Pentium 4 processor at 2.80GHz 512mb RAM GeForce FX 5200 vid card If you need any more info on my system let me know. It seems that when I play as the cube I can have several targets but even if I just take a shuttle against a cube it shuts out on me.

With saved games, you can also load previous saved games before your most recent one. Sometimes it works and you'll get lucky, only having missed one level...but as with me, you may end up having to play another episode.

It's a guess, but it may have something to do with the ships you're using. Maybe one of them is missing a file or something. Oh, and do you have the BC 1.1 patch (not the BC 1.1 Mod) installed?

Yes, I have the patch. I will go through the ships with the BCMP checker. Maybe the cubes have files missing.

Thank You! It worked and I only missed one level.
