You know when you enter Test Mode in Bridge Commander, and you see a lot of buttons named after the missions and the Quick Battle button itself? Well, there is another button in the menu which really doesn't do anything and is just named ???. People say that it's supposed to contain custom missions that I have downloaded, but if that's true, how come I can't see them? :/
install QBR 2.3 - you'll find it at BCFiles...
Already installed it 3 times, along with QBAutostart 0.91 and UMM.
Does anyone know how to fix this? :/
please dont bump your own thread asking for input... people will either respond, or they wont... they either know how to help or they dont... bumping your thread wont force a response, it will only annoy the moderators lol :) personally, in your situation, im not entirely sure what youre having trouble with... perhaps you should post a screenshot, or try another way of explaining the issue? also, try out the "search" function, maybe others have run into the same questions... also, there are other forums (like BCC) you could post your problem at, where you might get better assistance...
Heh, yeah you're right. Sorry for being a noob. :) I'll try to ask for assistance in BCU, but thanks either way. :)
you'll have better luck at BCC ;) BCU is deadsville these days, sadly :(
Dead? Hey that's great! That means you have more time to spend with my questions!!!
The people most able to handle your tech support BC questions usually hang out round at BCC: http://bc-central.com/forums/index.php/
Please remember that we don't get paid :P hehe
quote: "People say that it's supposed to contain custom missions that I have downloaded" Whenever a button has question marks or is just blank that generally means something is'nt installed properly. From the start menu you should click missions, then from the next screen click on custom missions, and from the next screen click on quickbattlegame. None of the rest of the buttons(applets if you will) should do anything because of a file located in the scripts/custom/autoload folder that tells them to ignore all commands. They are actually folders containing the files for the various mods etc. As for starting missions, once you get into the game press F3 to bring up Saffis menu, and click on configure. From the next screen click on file and then pick a mission, click load then start. If you loaded the mission properly everthing should work fine. Make sure you have all the requirements for the mission listed in the readme that came with it. I currently have 17 missions uploaded to BCFiles. Download one of those, or one from someone else(TigHud has a lot too) and give it a try. If this does'nt work come back here and we'll try something else. Good luck.
