Followed the Sticky guide to adding shuttle bays/shuttle oep. I got through that fine, only when I go to use it in-game, I no longer get access to the buttons in the Science menu that say 'launch shuttle,' etc.

One thing I can think of maybe - do OEPs have to be outside of the physical parts of the ship?

I was trying to add a shuttlebay to a TOS Connie, and as per the sticky instructions, I put the shuttlebay (hull property) and shuttlebay OEP in the same physical location on the model. However, that physical location is inside the aft part of the engineering hull (where the shuttlebay actually is).

I'll try putting the OEP outside the model's surface and see if that fixes it. But, if anyone has other ideas, I'm open to them.

Ok, I got it to launch. I wrote in the wrong scripting for the ship name.

Now, I can't get my Type 1 to return to the Enterprise. Any thoughts?

No, I've named it "Shuttle Bay."

I think my problem is that I used the transporter to get aboard the shuttle. After that, I beam back to the ship and the shuttle won't return.
