Ive been playing BC for a while now, and have never really had any major problems. However, when i try and start it up now, an error message appears saying "D3D render creation failed - fullscreen mode not supported", and then another saying "Microsoft visual C++...". Can someone please help me, i havent had any problems until now and i wanna play BC again! Thanks

Well, most times this error shows up when the game has been crashed the previous time you used it. Did the game crashed the previous time?

My BC sometimes cuts back to the desktop but it has never shown this message before. It hasn't had a major crash, and i think the last time i used it i just exited the program as usual, no problems or error messages. But now it keeps saying the same message and it wont let me in to the game. What can i do to stop the message from appearing?

I'm having the same problem you did, with the D3D rendering, i deleted the options.cfg and it still keeps coming up. The weird thing is that it started doing that once i have isntalled the patch, so do i have to reinstall everything again? >_>
