Is there a way to modify a torpedo's ability to seek a target? In more detail-what I mean is, when your "spread" is set for "single fire", the torpedo seeks its target immediately. But when you alter the spread (to either "full", "dual" etc), it takes a few moments for the torpedoes to start their seeking ability. So again-is there a way to modify the seeking ability of the torpedoes when firing other than single fire?

Thanks for the link to a similar post. But the items people discussed, I already knew about. I'm still in the same boat as the last post-I want to modify the default script that controls the torpedo seek delay period. But I do not know what BC controls that.

well you do need to find out the name of the torpedo. you can find that one in the hardpoint file of the ship: \\scripts\ships\\hardpoints\\.py

then you need to modify the torpedoscript: \\scripts\\tactical\\projectiles\\.py

that is what specifies the torpedoes behaviour. I don't know actually what controls that what you wants but if it can be done it should be in there...backup before you start to fiddle around!

also take a look at the advanced Quantum torpedoes those will never miss the target becauseof there extremely precise targeting ;)

AFAIK it's hardcoded.
