I recently got the bridge commander game for christmas... but it doesn't work. Stupid thing. Anyways the error i get is D3D render creation error Error string from renderer was: ''''I'm actually quite good with computers, and can mod quite a few games however this one just made me freeze and go ...what? Please tell me its fixable... I really want to play this game but I have no idea how I would fix this but I have a dismal feeling this is related to my Gefore fx 5200 graphics card. Anyone know how to fix this..?

I'd love to, thing is computers aren't designed to delete something that isn't there...

that's odd, so you haven't been able to play at all? Options.cfg should have been generated the first time you played BC. If you have managed to play it before, check that it isn't hidden. if you haven't been able to run BC at all I suggest you update your graphics card drivers.

GeForce FX 5200 is the worst piece of junk NVIDIA ever made. Hell, entire GeForce 5xxx generation is jedno veliko sranje (USS Sovereign here will understand that ;)). Updating graphic drivers might help. Also, I suggest patching the game and running it in compatibility mode for Windows 98. Plus, if you're trying to run the game on Vista, enable running with Administrative priviledges and disable Desktop Composition.

Hmm.. Well I already had the newest drivers, and I just checked to see if my hardware accelerator was cranked up to max, which it was. So anyone else have any ideas on how to fix this short of buying a new card?

I belive I gave you several suggestions that usually work in my previous post. Have you tried any of them? What OS do you have? XP or Vista?

well, I'd try reinstalling the drivers anyway, they might be corrupt. also you might try reinstalling the game. If that doesn't work, they've got some good cards at Bestbuy for fairly cheap
