Hello, I'm a bit new here and I'm in need of some help with my Star Trek Bridge Commander game. My Specs: Vista SP1, 9800 GX2, 4.0 GB Ram, 3.00 GHz, and I also have a Quad Core. My problem is I will be playing my game, this usually happens during combat and my computer freezes. Keyboard shuts off, and so does mouse and monitor. I'm sorry I don't have any other information other then that. If anyone could help me with this problem, thanks.

Baxus;4825224Keyboard shuts off, and so does mouse and monitor.

Could you be more specific, please? What exactly do you mean by that? Do they just stop responding, but their lights are still on or they completely lose power? If that is the case, perhaps you need a better power supply. Also, check your power saving settings and disable them completely to see if it makes any difference.

No, its not the computer, this only happens with ST BC, and yes my Monitor, keyboard, and mouse stop responding.

Honestly, I have no clue what could cause this problem. Say, are you using any mod? Have you tried reinstalling the game? Maybe there's something wrong with the BC itself. :clueless:

I found the problem it was me not having foundation, but I don't get why my comp frooze because of that. What fixed it was installing the foundation from bc cut 1.2, so I got it. No I have an intel quad core

So, you were using some mod, but without Foundation, right?

Yes, I'm using KM 1.0 with a few ships from BC Files. I just didn't have foundation which I thought I had, I was replacing files and forgot to reinstall it. Again I don't get why it froze my computer.

Me neither. I thought mods simply won't work without Foundation installed. But, I never used any mod for this game, so I could be wrong. Thanks for the information, though. It will come in handy if someone else comes here with the same problem. :don:
