I need somehelp i am not good at scripting i can edit already scripted items sorta but making a brand new i can not do. i simply want to make a mod that shuts down the warpcore to prevent a breach. when you hit the shutdown the core button it shuts down in like 15 seconds or something and then moves the core to the destroyed list so then your enemy can't target it so then once you hide you can bring the core back online and continue repairs on it. How would i go about doing this?? Thanks !

You'd have to take off the "Critical" option in the MPE for it, or else the core will explode when you take it to the Destroyed list.

see thats what i was afraid of. But can me make it so when you click the button that it takes it off of critical and then when you hit the button again to reinstate the core it makes it so it is critical again?

I can't script anything past hardpoints, so I'm entirely lost there, sorry.

hmmmm i don't think thats possible unless you have a dynamic Hardpoint. More scripting then i want to do . I would deem it possible with two warpcores. One that you call as operational, and the other as shut down. you would only get one shot at shutting down the core. But when you bring it online it would stay in the destroyed menu as core shutdown, but your main core would stay online. I would think an offshoot of the core ejection mod could help. since it destroys and brings back the warp core.

see i was thinking about the core ejection mod too. if you just did some changes than it would be the same. find that where it takes the core offline and then get rid of the rest of the script. i will have to check with sneaker.
