windows 7 and bcut/bcmi compatability issues? -1 reply

Hi, i just built a computer and ive put windows 7 ultimate 32 bit on it. my problem is when i install and attempt to use bcut or bcmi it doesnt execute. and ive disabled my firewall and attempted to run it in compatability mode and nothing works. does anyone else have the same problem? if so how did u fix it? any help would be apprciated

The Author of BCUT posted a thread some weeks ago. You might want to post about your problems there. Your most likely to get some good input.

also, I would try BCUT instead, that's a much newer program that can do the same things as BCMP or BCMI

Try running the program with admin rights or installing it to a different folder than "program files".

BCUT is compatible with any OS which can run Net Framework 2.0 or higher.

Does it crash? Does it create BCUTError.log file? Are you permitted to run the program as it requires admin privileges to run it?
