Hi i've been playing around with the Model Property Editor and i've been wondering how you add ablative armour to ships. Does anyone know how?

If you have Kobayashi Maru 1.0 installed it is VERY Easy ;)

in the ships py file in ships (NOT THE HARDPOINT IN THE SHIPS\HARDPOINTS) you add te following code:

def GetArmorRatio(): return 1.0

1.0 is 10 times stronger then 0.1 and 10.0 is 10 times stronger than 1.0 and 100 times stronger than 0.1...suit your self the strength you need

the system is using power from the energy battery everytime you got hit..if the battery is empty...the hull armour is destroyed ;)

Copy an existing py file, rename it, and edit the specifics accordingly.
