i made a hardpoint file for the no hp interpid from bcfiles.. anyways.. i try to play with it but it wont work.. i made all the neccesary hps.. i did it in the mpe but still .. i just cant get it to work.. is there a thing i must do in order to make it work? and what do i put in the ship script, not the hp script.. any help would be appriciated :mad::(:lookaround:

can you provide a console dump? Also a copy of your HP, ship py and ship plugin would be useful too.

What is happening? errors? Crash?

'It won't work' doesn't really tell us much.

sry i forgot to look back its working now.. but i just cant get the firing arcs right.. can someone give me some pointers.. i dont realy like my ships ventral phasers firin upwards.. btw do i have to start a new thread for the phaser issue or is it ok if my question is here?

keep the question here if possible.

Did you get the z-axis for the fireing arc correct? i've had that problem when rescripting my Galaxy Class. You might compare to another ships arcs so you can reference them for correct alignment

adjust your ships phasers accordingly even if it perhaps is not on the phaser strip, ingame it might fire of the phaser strip anyway to adjust the angles, use the spin command in the phaser subsystem dialog its all about trial and error AdamUK

Fed phaser arcs, in fact phaser arcs in general can be a pain to set up if your not used to the vagaries of the MPE.
