How do you use the Z-Axis. I was excited to find that Armada II was going to use the third dimension but I have yet to figure it out exactly. How do you control the hieght of your stations, ships and such? When I tell a ship to build, it seems to build on a whim just any old place it wants. Plus, when I do an attack, I'm not sure how I am supposed to make my ships come up from below.

Would someone mind clearing these controls up for me? I don't think I'm following what the book is telling me. Thanks.

Have A Nice One.

hold down the SHIFT key and then drag your mouse. A colored line will be drawn (red for plus Z axis, green for minus Z axis), then when your ready, release the SHIFT key and click to send theselected unit to that destination.

That one got me confused as well. Even now I try and stick to the flat plane, but the AI keep building bases so far up that you can't see their stations coz its in the way...

try playing the armada 2 tutorial, it tells and shows you how to do everything there.
