never heard of this game, must of suck?
:spank: you should be slaped for that armada 1 and 2 are one of my fav games and they both cameout some time ago and are still one of the best games ive ever played
Haven't heard of Armada? Well, I suppose it's possible (I hadn't heard of Haegemonia until I visited a few websites).
Armada is like an RPG except instead of base characters you have starships to command with a tactical infrastructure. You have the option to build several starship classes for each of the four major races (Federation, Borg, Romulan, and Klingon), many which have a special weapon that can turn the tide of a battle in an instant. You have to find resources in order to build these ships and you need crew to man them. You must find a balance between a large fleet with few base defences or the reverse.
Armada II is the successor to Armada I and two new races were added (Cardassians and Species 8472). You can use assault ships to take over bases and enemy vessels, you have more ship classes at your disposal, you can trade for more resources, you have more resource types (latinum and metal in addition to the original dilithium), and more special weapons, some of which can be assimilated by the Borg (giving them more power).
For more information, look up the Armada I and II home pages.

Armada is basically Command & Conquer in space, except with ships and stations, instead of infantry, tanks and structures.
