ok, i need help, alot of it. so, the other day, my comp got full so i put all my downloaded files on disks, then used the recovery disk to clean it out, and my JK2 worked when i uninstalled it. so, i got a fresh new computer, when i went to install jk2, i get this message

"please insert disk 0 which contains data3.cab"

the installer always stops at 1 percent at Gemdata/assets1.pk3

if any of you know how i can fix this, please reply.

:( :(

i'm not sure. if you installed the update make sure you didn't put assets 2 and 5 on your disc. are you using a burned copy or one you bought?

Hllo,

I also got a (very) similar problem, I borrowed the game from the local liberary (this is legal!), and when I try to install it says at 75% the same error as in the first post. And when I try to copy the contents of the CD to the harddrive asset0.pk3 (this is a zip!) is always 75% of the original.

I just post this here, so that when this thread updates that I can read it.

But anyway, I just send an E-mail to Lucas Arts, at least through Activision.
