Hello @ all jk2 players!

I have the following problem with Jedi Outcast v1.4: In both gametypes SP and MP my system stops running, if I play longer than half an hour. I tried to solve this by

1. setting a lower resolution in the graphics-menu 2. disabling EAX 3. replacing my soundcard

but in all cases I had no success... PLZ help!

I use the Jedi Academy Mod v.1.1

Systeminformation:

PIII @ 1Ghz 256megs of ram Windows 2000 Professional Jedi Knight 2 original-cd Creative Soundblaster 4.1 Digital / TerraTec 512i digital soundcards GeForce 2MX (32mb) --- All my drivers are up-to-date.

Thanks for your reply but this didn't solve the problem. I have been playing jk2 since day 0 and I've never had such a problem before...

It has nothing to do with my memory or something.

maybe there's an error in that modification I use. Unfortunately this "error" seems to infect my whole gamedirectory.

I deleted the game, cleared the registry and after that I installed it again. What happened?......... Nothing. The game still freezes after 30 mins gameplay.

I have found a solution:

After installing both patches, 1.03 and 1.04, the problem was fixed. I think, I didn't install these patches correctly before that. Now I have no 'timelimit' anymore on the servers.
