Let me guess. You have an NVidia GeForce# video card and are running Win XP, right? Win XP does not install the opengl subsystem for your video card. You need to download the Windows XP driver from the card manufacturers sight and install it (or install it from the disk, if you have one.) I don't understand why Microsoft did this. Its VERY annoying. If you have some other video card, its still basically the same problem - the OpenGL subsystem isn't installed, the driver needs to be updated. A common problem.

Hmm, an annoying problem. Actually, I faced the same problem when I first tried to play Jedi Outcast on XP Pro. Yeah, guy above me hit it on the head. You need to go download a driver for your graphics card, no question about that. It's really easy to do. Just download the one for your version of XP and you shouldn't have any problems running Outcast afterwards. If so, let us know.

OK, no matter what version of Windows you are running, you don't have the OpenGL subsystem installed for your video card or onboard video, whichever you have. You need to get an updated driver from your computer manufacturer (I assume you have a Dell or etc.) If this is unavailable, then you need to either get a video card (and your computer might not have an AGP port, you may need a PCI card), or replace the computer. Since you are obviously interested in gaming, you can save a TON of money by building your own comp, and have a better machine than you can buy (for any reasonable amount of money anyway.)

Hmm. What the guys said about downloading an appropriate driver holds true. However, it sounds like you have an OLD computer. I don't have a plethora of experience in rebuilding computers, but you might want to investigate in just getting a new computer. Thoughts anyone?
