I have been wondering for a while now...how do you take screenshots in multiplayer? I would really appreciate the help...also, can you take them in single player too...and if so is there a difference in taking them in multiplayer vs. single?

THANKS anakinskywalker9

Easy do the following in game:

Multiplayer

1)Bring down the console (hold shift and press the button left of 1)

2)type: /screenshot

To bind it in multiplayer so you can press a key:

1)bring down the console

2)type: /bind x screenshot

Replace "x" with the key you want to take the screenshot. to put it in a folder in base/screenshots/yourfoldername type: /bind screenshotname/folder/folder ect....

replace screenshotname with the name of the shot (it will carry it on as yourshotname0000 yourshotname0001 ect....)

Then replace folder with the folder name (put as many folders as you wish.)

SP Now in sp the only difference is it has no /:

1) bind x screenshot

with no slash.

I suggest you just bind key screenshot cause folders theres no reason for them. Just type "/bind screenshot" in console and for sp type "bind screenshot" in console.

Good luck

Basically just ype:

MultiPlayer 1)bring down the console (hold shift and press the button left of 1)

2)type: /bind x screenshot

replace x with the key you want to take the screenshot. Then press it to take a screenshot!

Single player 1)bring down the console

2)type: bind x screenshot

replace x with the key you want to take the screenshot. Now press it when you want to take the screenshot.

By the way i meant to miss out the slash sp has no /

Do the following binds..... (EXACT except for particular buttons)

bind - "cg_thirdpersoncameradamp 0; cg_draw2d 0"

That drops camera in position you were looking at the time and removes the hud.

bind - "cg_thirdpersoncameradamp 0.3; cg_draw2d 1"

And that one sets everything right again.

Have a play around with the dropped camera, and use your screenshot bind as told in other replys, you can get some REALLY neat shots.

Have a look at the screenshots section on my site. for some examples

If you just bind screenshot it will add a screenshot folder and filenames called screenshot to what ever folder your playing (EG if using jediplus then the screenshot folder will be there, if using no mod then it will appear in base)
