Could someone please help shed some light on what my problem is as far as not being able to create a server on the internet. Every time I try to create a server whether it be with jedirunner or with windows dedicated it always shows up in my "local" list. It will never show up in the "internet" list. I want to be able to host a game, but it doesn't seem to be showing up correctly. It shows up in the local list and at the end of the name the is (UDP) written there. If anyone could be of any help, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

well first of all i suggest the zone to play jedi outcast. Second of all ur supposed to click play and in the middle it says create server. click that then choose ur settings and make sure its not a dedicated server. then you can host! good luck! :assimilate::)

I got a program for you it is great.

Try this:

Jedi Runner - A Server setup tool, Very good. you can even setup a JediMod server with this, thou it does not tell ya how. but you can, and it makes it more easier.

Thanks fj, but it happens when I try Jedirunner too. I mentioned that in my post. :) I tried various different ways. I don't know what the problem is. I tried it and it seems like I can only host a game locally. I want to host it on the net. I know about the create server option in the beginning of the game. I've tried various options on there too, but it still doesn't work the way that I think that it's supposed to. Thanks for the suggestions, but I've tried both that have been posted so far. Thanks again.

I think I can help with this maybe :) first, create an advanced map cycle in jedirunner, set all your server settings, and save them as default. Then, go to utilities menu on Jedi Runner, and choose export configuration as batch file.

Now, go to where you saved the batch file, and right click it. Choose edit, and add this ...

+set fs_game (eg adminmod, jedimod) - at the beginning of the file.

+set dedicated 2

if you have a mod running, you will need to exec the config file for that mod, eg +exec adminmod.cfg

and ...

you will also need to exec your config file created in Jedi Runner, eg +exec jedirunner.cfg

place these two config files into your mod folder, along with the map cycle, if running no mods, just put them all in the base folder. Now create a shortcut of the batch file, and place it on the desktop. Server will now (hopefully) run from this shortcut.

Hope this helps.
